Attention! Preparation for the ascent should be taken thoroughly. For climbing:

  • It needs a good physical condition and endurance
  • It is advisable to have experience in mountain hiking or climbing, for example, Kazbek, Elbrus, Kilimanjaro, etc.
  • you need to know and be able to use alps equipment (you will have a training program)

Brief description of the area:

Mount Lobuche has two peaks: Lobuche East (6119 m) and Lobuche West (6145 m). It is located near the homonymous settlement of Lobuche, in the Sagarmatha National Park in the Khumbu Valley, in one of the spurs of the main Himalayan ridge near the Khumbu glacier, famous for tourists, along which the track to Everest passes. Climbing the eastern peak is performed along the southeast ridge and requires the use of skills of movement along snow-ice and rocky routes
