Day 1
10:30 - group gathering at the railway station of Kislovodsk (near the main entrance from the city side). Transfer by mountain transport to the Dzhily-Su natural boundary, to the glade of Emmanuel (3.5 hours). Walking distance from mountain transport to the camp site is about 1 km (15-20 minutes). On the way to the camp, cross a wooden bridge over a small river, then climb up a hill (climb about 30 meters), then follow a path along an even, grassy meadow. It is most convenient to overcome the path with a backpack behind you. We know you, every third tourist asks if it is possible to bring a suitcase with you. Therefore, we immediately say that with suitcases and travel bags you can also go to the parking lot!
Well, welcome to the foot of Elbrus! The highest mountain of the Caucasus will be visible directly from our tents, and in the coming days we will take dozens of pictures against the backdrop of this snowy giant! Since we were in the country of narzans, today we will try a real mineral narzan. We will camp in the clearing of Emmanuel. During the whole trip our tents will stand in one place. The parking lot is located at an altitude of 2550 m. Glade Emanuel is known as the place from which the first successful conquest of Elbrus began. In 1829, a scientific expedition was organized, led by General George Emanuel. About 30 people went to storm the summit, and the general himself watched them through a telescope from this glade. Nowadays, this place is called - the glade of Emmanuel. Now the glade has been chosen by tourists who like to walk around the picturesque surroundings, or who plan to climb Mount Elbrus from the north.
Silver source, Kalinov bridge, canyon of the Kyzyl-Kol river. Today we will walk around the picturesque surroundings: we will see a spring with silver water and go down the Kalinov bridge to the canyon of the Kyzyl-Kol river. It is curious that the source of silver water does not always work :))). It appears only in late June - early July.
The active part of the passage along the route: 4.2 km, vertical drop 2550-2190-2550 m, duration 2-2.5 hours.
Day 2
On this day, we go to admire the extraordinary nature of Elbrus! The Kala-Kulak beam (in our opinion - “Castle Gorge”) will surprise us with bizarre pointed pyramids the height of five-story houses. Once upon a time, magma flowed and froze here. Over time, nature carved bizarre stone castles in it.
Let's go on a waterfall walk! Sultan, Emir, Shah - these are all the names of the waterfalls that we will visit today. The calmest is Emir Falls, the highest is Sultan Falls, it falls to the ground from a height of 40 meters. And the most spectacular is Shah waterfall. He breaks out an incredibly powerful stream of rocks! And the rocks themselves in this place are a masterpiece of nature. If you look at a certain angle, the rocks begin to move and rise right before your eyes!
Fans of water procedures, do not forget the swimwear! Today we will take narzan baths. Yes, those same ones with a lot of bubbles.
The active part of the passage along the route: 10.7 km, elevation 2550-2200-2550 m, duration 6-7 hours.
Day 3
The Irahit-syrt plateau is a real miracle of nature, which has been created for millions of years. Glaciers broke off from the slopes of Elbrus and passed along a plateau. Hot lava flows flowed here. Now the plateau is covered with emerald greenery and bright colors. Here it is so nice to walk barefoot, lie on the grass and photograph the snow-white peaks of the mountains through the flowers! On this walk, the handsome Elbrus opens up to us from a new angle. Now he is even closer and grander. It is from the Irakhit-syrt plateau that we take some of the most spectacular photos of Elbrus! The active part of the passage along the route: 9.8 km, elevation 2550-2930 m, the duration of the transition 5-6 hours.
Day 4
Sirh is a real mountain of mystery. Once upon a time, when there was not even Elbrus, Mount Sirh was the highest in the Caucasus. It was a center, a kind of Olympus, where people came for sacred holidays and held their rites and cults here. The cult of the sun god is connected with the peak of Sirch; ancient temples and cave paintings are found here. Nowadays, scientists say that the Sirh is one of the most energetically strong places in the Caucasus. If you are an ordinary tourist and cult rituals are not very close to you, then let us tell you a secret: INCREDIBLE views of Elbrus from the mountain! Elbrus is right in front of us: huge, snow-white, decorated with light clouds. It is curious that all of our routes are visible from the top of Sirkh, and our camp is located here below. For the sake of all this, you should definitely go up to the Sirch! The active part of the passage along the route: 12.2 km, vertical drop 2550-3098 m, the duration of the transition is 5-6 hours.
Day 5
We go higher to the mountains for new experiences! We will follow the paths along sharp cliffs, stone moraines, and then we will reach a huge plateau. Imagine, in the mountains, a PERFECTLY SMALL plateau! This unusual place was called "German airfield". The Germans believed that here, on Elbrus, is one of the mysterious entrances to the other world. During World War II, planes landed on this plateau, the passengers of which were very similar to Tibetan lamas. It was planned that it was here that the llamas were supposed to meditate, make contact with the cosmos and predict the future. What did the llamas predict? We will know when we rise to the plateau!
Resting in Jily-Su, you will soon realize that there are more than enough unusual places in the Elbrus region. One of them is very close - it is "Glade of mushrooms." For centuries, wind and rain have been scouring rock, which has turned into bizarre sculptures - stone mushrooms. Some mushrooms are very small, others have grown to two, three and even five meters in height! The photo shoot here is incredible. As expected, mushrooms have powerful energy and create a special zone around them. Often there are weather surprises here: it can rain everywhere, and the blue sky is above the mushrooms and the sun is shining! The active part of the passage along the route: 11 km, vertical drop 2550-3200 m, the duration of the transition is 6-7 hours.
Day 6
Today we will visit the highlight of our route - the alpine lake Birjaly. You will have the most vivid impressions of this walk! The glacial lake is located on the slope of Elbrus, at an altitude of 3380 m. The lake itself and the area around it are completely unusual. Around the kingdom of rocks, snow, glaciers and here is Kalitsky peak. The peak is composed of light granite and diabase. It is noteworthy that these rocks are not found anywhere else on Elbrus! From a height, the lake and peak together look like a huge space plate, the center of which is precisely Kalitsky peak. The dowsing frame shows the presence of a large flow of energy that goes from outer space to the surface of the lake. And the second stream of energy, even more powerful, is directed from the peak of Kalitsky up into the Cosmos. And this is one of the secrets of Kalitsky peak.
Today along the route we will see two lakes! One lake is bright blue in color, light waves run along its surface, Elbrus rises nearby. It takes only a couple of minutes to pass - and before you in all its glory Lake Birjaly will open! It is huge, the water has several shades of azure color. The lake is decorated with a very spectacular sandbank of black, volcanic rock. In late June, ice floes are still swimming here, and rare daisies and saxifrages grow near the lake.
In this place there is always silence, tranquility and grandeur. Two lakes, Kalitsky peak, snow-white Elbrus - all this will be before your eyes. After lunch, we will definitely make a big halt to enjoy the atmosphere of this place.
The active part of the passage along the route: 23 km, vertical drop 2550-3380 m, the duration of the transition is 11-12 hours.
Day 7
In the morning we collect the camp and say goodbye to Elbrus. On the usual mountain transport we leave the glade of Emmanuel. On the way we will make a stop near Tuzluk Mountain. This is another mysterious peak of Elbrus. From afar, it looks like an ordinary pyramid, only completely covered by a grassy cover. Lovers of mysticism say that the pyramid is hollow inside, there are two huge halls where incredible things are stored ... Also among local people there is a legend that there is an underground passage from the Malki River gorge leading to the very center of Tuzluk Mountain. And at the top of the mountain there is a flat platform from which the Temple of the Sun grows. The active part of the passage along the route: 1.5 km, vertical drop 2510-2570 m, the duration of the transition is 30 minutes.
11:00 - transfer to the city of Mineralnye Vody.
16: 00-17: 00 - arrival at the railway station and airport of Mineralnye Vody, departure home.
Attention! Depending on the weather conditions, the physical condition of the participants and other factors, the route of the trip can be changed.
