Day 1
Meeting participants at the airport. We leave for Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, where we will stay in a hostel in the city center. If you wish, we will arrange an introductory tour of the city and in the evening we will go to one of the restaurants.
Day 2
Early in the morning we leave to the beginning of the route - to the village of Kozyrevsk, on the way we have lunch at roadside cafes. For the night we will stay in guest houses, where we will take a Russian bath.
Day travel - 520 km.
Days 3-4
We begin our journey from the village of Kozyrevsk to the Volcanoes of Kamchatka natural park. We have to overcome 33 km through a spruce forest to the foot of the volcanoes and reach Mount Kopyto, near which the volcanologists' house is located. Overnight in tents or a cottage, if available.
Trekking - 33 km.
Day 5
From Mount Kopyto today we go towards the Tolbachik volcano. We will overcome steep slopes at the Sheep Rocks, near which we will have lunch. In the evening we will reach the Studenaya River, which completely freezes in winter. Overnight in tents.
Day trip - 13 km.
Day 6
Today we will walk along a flat plateau located between the Tolbachik and Bezymyanny volcanoes. From the Studenaya river we go towards the Polennitsa mountain, formed of basalt hexagons of irregular shape. After lunch we will overcome the Bezymyanny pass and stop for the night at the Plotin's house, which stands at the foot of Bezymyanny volcano.
Day trip - 13 km.
Day 7
Today will be held at the foot of the Kamen volcano. In the evening we will reach the Ambon stone - a 15-meter block, which separated from the top of the Kamen volcano as a result of a catastrophic eruption. Overnight in tents.
Day trip - 12 km.
Day 8
Trekking to the Apakhonchich volcanological base. The base was founded in 1956 for year-round observation of the most active volcano in Kamchatka - Klyuchevskaya Sopka. This area is the most convenient place to watch the erupting volcano. We will come to the volcanological station for lunch, and we will have time to enjoy the view of the eruption. Overnight in tents or a cottage, if available.
Day trip - 8 km.
Days 9-10
Two-day trek to the village of Klyuchi. Our path will go along the snowmobile path and only down. The village of Klyuchi is located on the banks of the Kamchatka River and is surrounded by several extinct volcanoes. It offers an excellent view of the Klyuchevskoy and Shiveluch volcanoes. In the village we will spend the night in the volcanologists' house and take a bath.
Trekking - 58 km.
Day 11
Long drive to the capital of Kamchatka. In the evening we will check into a hotel and celebrate our return at one of the city's restaurants.
Day 12
On this day, we say goodbye and go to the airport of Elizovo
