Day 1
Arrival in Nevinnomyssk. Accommodation at the Kuban Hotel - 2x, 3x local rooms with private facilities. Acquaintance with the guide. Getting food, group equipment. Excursion to the museum of local lore. Acquaintance with the history of the Stavropol Territory.
Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer Nevinnomyssk - Arkhyz. Visiting the ski resort "Moonlit Glade". Camp device. Overnight at the mountain river. We learn to set up tents, make a fire and cook in the field.
Day 3
Climb. We wash ourselves in a mountain river. We go to the alpine zone. A dirt road among the alpine meadows leads us to the Atsgora pass - what you need for the first day is not difficult and picturesque. Underfoot there are glades of flowers and clouds. Here is the long-awaited Atsgora pass (1 A, 2886 m). Descent to the Zagedan Lakes. Lakes! Large, small, blue, turquoise. Different, different. And all at our feet.
Day 4
Traverse of the Zagedan ridge. Collection of mountain lakes. Below us are the clouds, peaks and bisser of mountain lakes: emerald, blue, korbunkolovye, deep blue and green. A whole collection of photos and impressions. Each lake is unique - it is a small world, alluring depth and coolness of crystal waters.
Day 5
Easy descent, 16 km from the Abishir-Akhub ridge through the Zagedan pass (1B, 2765 m.) To the village of Damkhurts. We enter the twice specially protected zone: the border zone of the Russian Federation, located within the boundaries of the Caucasian Biosphere Reserve. Formalities with border guards and the Caucasus Nature Reserve. An evening of fun stories
Day 6
Crossing the Damhurz Valley. Wild places. Bears and the thicket. We go to the Kvata pass (1A). The reserved land. Orchids, primrose and forget-me-nots bloom. The trail is surrounded by rhododendrons and juniper. We have fun walking along the valley. An evening of funny stories.
Day 7
Early rise. Kvat pass (2350 m, 1A), transition to the lake Damhorse Lake (10 km). Bonfire. Reflection of stars in the lake. Romance. Camp on the shore. We swim in the lake, sunbathe - real spa treatments, daytime tired goes by itself. We sleep without hind legs, we remember the past day saturated.
Day 8
We are heading to Sochi. We take the Tsyndyshkho pass (2745 m, 1A). We admire the panorama of the Main Caucasus Range, Lake Kardyvach and the glaciers of the Caucasus. Descent to the lake Kardyvach. Overnight on the lake. Water treatments. An evening of scary stories. Kardyvach is a beautiful lake, a tourist mecca, a place much desired by many, so inaccessible that it makes many hike to Lake Kardyvach a dream of all life. It is a great success for us to visit this innermost corner of the Caucasus.
Day 9
Not difficult trekking, descent from the Kardyvach lake to the Engelman glade. Landscapes are changing: the Sinaya river, Engelman glades, the famous royal narzans. Tasting and continuing the path. Good sports work. We admire nature and friends. Last night in tents - we cook borsch on narzan.
Day 10
Descent to the village of Krasnaya Polyana. Mzymta is making noise on the left - hurry to the Black Sea. We are accommodated in a comfortable hotel: a soft bed, a hot shower and a roll for the night - we gain kilograms lost during the trip. Upon request, you can visit the spa, bath and pool! Festive dinner. Fried trout !! Chestnut honey !!!
Day 11
Breakfast. Parting. Departure. New Olympic Highway: rocks, cliffs. Stormy Mzymta is powerful and majestic. Tunnels. The coastal village of Adler. The gentle sea. See you soon!
