Brief information on the area
Alpine plateau Lago-Naki - a plateau in the Western Caucasus, at an altitude of up to 2200 meters (average altitude of about 2000 meters), known for alpine meadows and a place under the slopes of Mount Oshten, where new unique species are born.
Psenoda - the lake has a crescent shape. And the water of the lake goes underground and is lost in the bowels of the earth. It offers a bewitching view of the peaks of Przekho-Su and Oshten.
Khadzhokh gorge - one of the most famous sights of mountain Adygea, located in the village of Kamenomostsky (Hadzhokh). Hadzhokh gorge is a narrow stone canyon with a width of 2 to 6-7 meters. The steep banks of the canyon are up to 35-40 meters high. At the bottom of a stone slit, the wayward river Belaya beats, bubbles and bubbles. The length of the gorge is 400 meters. It starts from the Cossack stone, and after almost half a kilometer breaks free and spreads widely along the alluvial floodplain by the miandras. The width of the river bed varies from 50 to 60 meters in this section.
Upper canyon of Hadzhokh gorge. The width of the canyon is 30-40 meters. The height of the rocky cliffs is up to 40 meters. The canyon of the Hadzhokh gorge begins from the Cossack stone and goes down along the Belaya river bed. The upper part of the canyon is stone blockages, grottoes and caves. Pile of stones - stone “Labyrinth” is difficult to pass, but it was perfectly studied by children's groups, resting in a recreation camp at the camp “Mountain”.
The middle part of the canyon. The width of the canyon is 2-6 (two to six) meters. The height of the rocky cliffs is up to 35 (thirty five) meters. The narrow gap of the canyon squeezes the turbulent course of the Belaya River into a foaming stream. Several viewing platforms, organically located on the walls of the canyon allow you to thoroughly explore the wonders of nature, and in cloudless weather and go down to the very edge of the water. Here in the twilight of the canyon you will feel foaming drops of water on your face, cold spray.
Lower Canyon. The width of the canyon is 5 meters. The height of the rocky cliffs is up to 30 meters. The section of the canyon begins from the sandy beach of the Gornaya camp site and continues to the old bridge over the Belaya River. The water here is calm. You can take a chance and swim here in a boat.
