Day 1

Arrival in Krasnodar. Group meeting - Railway Station Square, monument to Lenin 9:00. Transfer Krasnodar - Kirovsky, visit to Kapustin waterfall - 40 meters. Setting up a camp in the Smolnaya glade. The territory of the Caucasian biosphere reserve. Preparing for the trip. Rest before the trip.

Day 2

Breakfast. Transfer to the start of the pedestrian part of the march to the Chernorechye cordon. We enter the grand gorge of the Malaya Laba River - this is the purest mountain river - the left tributary of the Kuban - begins at an altitude of 2401 meters from the northern slopes of the Aishkho Pass. Our path in this campaign will pass along the valley of this river. Today it’s quite easy to walk, mainly on a dirt road with a smooth climb. We have magnificent views of the Naked Ridge (1851 m). Beech and fir forest meets us with its centuries-old beauty. Having reached the next Third Company cordon, we set up camp in the equipped tourist camp, where there is a large comfortable gazebo. Today is not a difficult day; there remains a lot of strength to walk along the river bank. Around the parking lot there are high thickets of fern, and the air is filled with the aroma of forest mint, which is also abundant here. Daily route - 8 km

Day 3

All the time, magnificent views open, the gorge widens to 200 meters, then narrows to 20. The trail sometimes rises uphill, sometimes down to the very water. Steep rocky slopes fall to the river. In the region of 12-13 kilometers, Zaprudnoye Lake begins, it was formed in 2002 as a result of mudflow from the Koptsev beam. A stone stream blocked the way to water in a narrow gorge and such a beautiful natural phenomenon was formed, here we will make a halt. Those who wish can swim in the lake. On our way there are the ranges of the Big and Small Balkans. In the evening we leave on a huge long meadow Umpyrskaya with the cordon of the same name - Umpyr. We cross the rivulet Achipsta over the bridge and spend the night in a clearing equipped for parking under huge firs. Daily route length - 13 km

Day 4

Having woken up in the morning, we take a walk to the suspension bridge over the Achipsta River, the valley of which is very picturesque at this time of day, when the sun only begins to illuminate the wooded slopes of the mountains. We have breakfast and slowly begin to collect our camp. Today we have a simple transition before the confluence of the Malaya Laba and Tsakhvoa rivers. We move through the fir and birch forest. The bizarre plexus of the huge roots of centuries-old firs, the abundance of mushrooms, mosses, rare species of plants delight the eye. The forest is light and calm, only the noise of a mountain river and the singing of birds violate the reserved silence. At the confluence of rivers, we are equipped with a parking lot with a gazebo and benches. We camp on the very bank of the river. The place is very picturesque: birch trees bend their branches to the water itself, not far there is a small bridge across Malaya Laba, you can go for a walk on the right bank of the river. Daily route - 8 km

Day 5

Our path continues along the river upstream. In these places in 1942 there were fierce battles for access to the sea and along the route we will meet dozens of monuments and obelisks. In some places there were still fortifications, trenches, dugouts, dugouts, and on the Aishkho pass, nests of shooters defending our mountains are still visible. The whole forest is trampled by traces of bison and deer, in winter they descend into river valleys and wait for the snow to disappear from alpine meadows. If you walk quietly and not make noise on the route, you can easily see the inhabitants of these places. The fauna here is diverse: Caucasian red deer, roe deer, wolf, fox, hare, Kuban tour, chamois, marten, raccoon, badger, wild boar and, of course, the pride of the reserve is the Caucasian bison. But you should not be afraid of meeting a wild beast, no one will attack a person, especially noisy tourists. The group moves along the gorge of the Malaya Laba River. Along the way, scenic mountain views open up, the forest becomes more diverse, there are birches and willows. Along the way, glades with raspberry thickets come across. Sometimes you feel the fresh breath of the mountains. Glaciers of the highest point of the Krasnodar Territory - Tsakhvoa Mountains are visible. This day has to go a little. Half day. Camping, overnight in tents in the forest on the arrow, which is formed by the confluence of the Laba and Chistaya rivers. A fun evening with new friends. Daily route - 9.74 km
Half day day. Today you can sleep and relax. Those who get up all the same in the early days will enjoy a magnificent sight: waking up, the sun paints the stony slopes of Mount Pseashkha (3251 m) in soft pink, golden and unique colors. If the weather permits, on this day you can make a radial exit to the waterfall on the Chistaya River, and then go up the path and go up to the booth, from which you can easily reach subalpine meadows saturated with the aroma of flowering herbs. There you can make a small snack and enjoy views of the Pseashkhi glaciers. After we return to our camp to cook dinner and gain strength before taking the pass.

Day 6

The most colorful and eventful day of the trip. The group in the morning begins the assault on the Aishkho pass (n / a, 2401 m). The trail first leaves the coniferous forests of the river valley, then the birch twig, on the slopes visible traces of winter avalanches. Sharp peaks of Pseashkho and Aishko ridge flaunt on the sides, the river valley is littered with mudflow stones, waterfalls are visible in the Laba tributaries. The pass is getting closer, the climb to it is not difficult, but rather protracted. Here is the pass - here still stands an iron hydrometer - a legacy of Soviet meteorology. From here, amazing panoramas open on Mount Agepsta (3256 m) - a beautiful three-thousander with glaciers. In the distance you can see Krasnaya Polyana with ski slopes on Mount Aibga. We go there! Having a little rest, we begin the descent, the path zigzags abruptly going down to the mountain road. We get down to the village of Krasnaya Polyana. Accommodation at the camp site. Recreation. Daily route length - 24 km

We say goodbye to the instructor and go to rest to the Black Sea.

Brief information on the area

The Caucasian Reserve is a state nature reserve. Full name - Caucasian State Natural Biosphere Reserve named after H. G. Shaposhnikov. The largest and oldest specially protected natural area in the North Caucasus. It is located within three constituent entities of the Russian Federation - the Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Adygea and the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.

Psebay is a village located in a picturesque valley on the banks of the Malaya Laba River, surrounded by a protected forest, mountains, streams, lakes and rivers. The village is located on the southeastern outskirts of the Krasnodar Territory. Translated from the ancient Türkic, "psebay" means "a place rich in water." In the 19th century, Psebay was a place of princely hunting. In 1862, Grand Duke Sergei Mikhailovich Romanov, cousin of Nicholas II, acquired the right to use the land. He ordered the construction of a hunting lodge and utility rooms for servants and dogs in Psebay. Now the hunting lodge of Prince Romanov is included in the regional register of monuments of cultural and historical heritage. In Psebay there is a department of the Eastern cordon of the only Caucasian biosphere reserve in the Kuban.

Krasnaya Polyana is a popular Russian ski resort, the snow pearl of Sochi. The resort got its name from a larger settlement - the village of Krasnaya Polyana. It is surrounded by four mountains: the rocky ridge of Achishkho, the sharp peaks of Aibgi, Chugush and Pseashkho. The snow-white peaks of the Caucasus Mountains rise to a height of 3 thousand meters. The village itself is located at an altitude of 550-600 meters above sea level. Upstairs, Esto-Sadok (formerly the Estonian Garden) was "lost".
