Brief information on the area
The Dzitak Valley is of a cross type, here the Main Dividing Range runs along the bottom of the valley. Dzitak lakes are very beautiful and accessible. Eight of them were discovered. The most significant lake is Bolshoy - an area of 20,000 square meters and a maximum depth of 10 m. The phenomenon of another lake, Dvulikoy, is that it flows both to the northern slope and to the south, that is, into the basins of the Urushten and Laura rivers. This is a very rare occurrence. Near the famous Pseashkho pass, in the valley of the Urushten river, under the Perevalnaya mountain, Lake Maloe is hidden. By origin this pond is an avalanche knockout. Lake depth up to 16 m
