Day 1
Meeting of participants at the airport. Acquaintance, check in at the hostel. According to the weather and desire: a walk around the city. Rest after a long flight, overcoming jet lags: the time difference between Moscow and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is 9 hours.
Day 2
Early rise. We leave the city and go to the beginning of the route, to the village of Pinachevo. On the way - a lecture on injury safety in yoga and hiking. From the village begins the hiking part - 18 km along a well-trodden path. Overnight in a tent or in a hunting lodge, if it turns out to be free.
Day 3
We start the morning with articular gymnastics with elements of the sukshma-vyayama system, which will help you to tune in to the hike and warm up well. On this day we will overcome our first non-category pass - Pinachevsky, in the evening we will reach the heart of Kamchatka - the Nalychevo valley. Day trip - 18 km along a well-trodden path. We settle in comfortable houses on the Central cordon, where we will live for the next two days. According to the readiness of the group: bathing in the springs or a calm evening practice of hatha yoga.
Day 4
In the morning - invigorating practice of pranayama, basic shatkarmas (purification techniques) and energetic practice of asanas of hatha yoga in the bosom of wild Kamchatka nature. After practice we plunge into healing hot springs. In the afternoon we visit the museum of the Nalychevo Natural Park, where we learn about the flora and fauna of Kamchatka, its history and peoples. Time for meditation or bathing in the springs. The evening lesson will consist of two parts: we will analyze the technique for performing basic yoga exercises and frequent mistakes and end the day with a quiet evening practice.
Day 5
We start the morning again with yoga with an emphasis on breathing and body cleansing, after which we climb onto the tower on the cordon and look out for bears walking along the river at a safe distance. We will walk around the park in search of chrysanthemums. For the rest of the day, we will migrate from one hot spring to another, choosing the best one for swimming. Evening practice of asanas. After dinner - a lecture on the philosophy of yoga or swimming for those who have not yet been swimming.
Day 6
We perform morning pranayama, warm up and prepare the body for a long transition using the Surya-Namaskar warm-up complex (Salutation to the Sun) and leave the hospitable cordon. We have a long way to go to volcanoes. We go through the birch forest to the river Shumnaya. On the way we visit Aagi mineral springs with delicious water and equipped parking. Day trip - 12 km. At dinner, we talk about how to competently build a personal yoga practice, and go to bed in tents by the waterfall.
Day 7
Already habitually warm up and breathe before breakfast and continue to walk towards Avachinsky pass. On this day, the forest will be left behind, and we will come close to the majestic Koryaksky volcano. Day trip - 15 km. We spend the night in our favorite tents.
Day 8
After a short morning practice, we enter the fields of volcanic slag. On this day we will overcome a small pass, go around Mount Camel (1256 m) and camp at the foot of the gigantic Avachinsky volcano. We will set up a camp at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level. Day trip - 15 km. Avachinsky pass - the kingdom of eurazheks. These are Bering gophers that are not at all afraid of people and love to beg tourists for food and take pictures, so prepare mimimeters. In the evening we will take a hot shower - the best way to refresh ourselves before tomorrow's ascent - and talk about how it is worth and how not to load the joints so that they remain healthy for many years, full of ascents and fantastic trips. And at the same time about what, and here is yoga.
Day 9
We carry out the morning warm-up complex, active pranayama and begin climbing the Avachinsky volcano. Climbing usually takes 6-7 hours. We have to rise to a height of 2751 meters - higher, as far as the eyes see, there is nothing. We take a walk along the crater of an active volcano, where lava cork has been standing since 1991, we will see the capital of Kamchatka and the endless ocean from above. In the evening we leave by car to Khalaktyrsky beach to meet the sunset, take home black Kamchatka sand, share the surging emotions. We carry out a short meditation complex on the shore of the largest of the Earth's oceans and fall asleep in tents to the sound of the surf.
Day 10
You can relax and sleep a little, but those who wish will join the morning practice in the sand. Even in the hottest days, the water in the ocean is cold, but plunging into the waters of the Pacific, or at least go knee-deep into the water, is an indispensable fad of Kamchatka trekking. We take a walk, look at the water, say goodbye to the wild Kamchatka and in the evening we return to civilization. We spend the night at the hostel, exchange photos, contacts, impressions, and already begin to miss Kamchatka.
Day 11
Today we will walk to the local market with original Kamchatka products (and no less original prices), buy souvenirs and send to the airport with our driver those who are ready to leave the magic Kamchatka right after the end of the route.
