Technical ascents of the Pointes Lachenal (3613 m)

From the French side, it is not a very noticeable peak against the background of the dominant mountains: Mont Blanc, Tacul, Grandes Jorasses, etc.This is due to the fact that it is significantly lower than these peaks and we see its snow and ice slopes from the northern side, and all the rock routes are on the southern side.
But!!! This is a very popular peak among climbers. Climbing this peak is a good training before climbing the iconic peak - Grand Capucin.
As part of this program, you will undergo training on rock, ice and snow terrain, and also make technical ascents using specialized mountaineering equipment: stoppers, hooks, camalots, ice tools, jumars, etc.
You will learn how to organize belay stations, move on jumars and along fixed ropes, rappel, etc.

• There are more than 30 routes to the top of Pointe Lachenal,
• Climbing difficulty categories from 6a to 7c,
• Mountaineering difficulty categories from 5A (B), (TD),
• You must have your own equipment!!! To be agreed upon in advance.
