Day 1
Meeting at Geneva airport, transfer to Chamonix. Accommodation at the campsite (hostel, apartment, hotel). Acquaintance with group members. Discussion of general issues. Evening walk in Chamonix.
Day 2
Today we have easy acclimatization tracking. We will climb the cable car to the Le Brevent Peak (2525 m), and then we will follow the path of the famous tour around Mont Blanc towards the village of Le Tour. During the walk, we look at the panorama of Mont Blanc and the nearby famous mountain peaks: Grandes Jorasses (4208 m), Petit Dru (3754 m), Aiguille Verte (4122 m), Aiguille du Midi (3842 m), etc. We will see beautiful mountain lakes: Brevent, Blanc, `Sherezi and others. On the way, we will have: Turia glade, small rocky peaks with numerous climbers on the routes, in places we will meet elements of Via Ferrata on the route, as well as a snack and relax in the local refugio.
Day 3
Yesterday a little tired, so today is an easy day for us - walking in the vicinity of Chamonix. We will go to the Addicted 'Park Gaillands adventure park area. Here we take a walk along a beautiful hiking trail, relax on the Sinclair and Gaillands lakes, take a look at the rocky work of climbers and climbers on natural rocks and enjoy beautiful panoramic views of Mont Blanc, Brevent and other mountain peaks. Returning to Chamonix, you can devote time to shopping.
Day 4
They got acclimatization and had a good rest. Further, we will only have active tours with a climb of more than 1000 meters per day. So, the plan for today is a trip to the area of Le Tour, a walk to the area of Refugio Albert (2702 m). If you are ready to go on foot, if not, we sit on the cable car and climb to the area of the pass Col de Balme (2195 m). From here a gorgeous view opens towards France towards the Chamonix Valley, and towards Switzerland. We start the climb. We will pass near Lake Charamillon, overtake on the right side a mountain range with the peaks of Pointe des Grands (3081 m) and Pointe des Berons (2954 m). From this place we have a beautiful view of the Glacier du Tour. Another small climb is about 400 m and we are at the Albert shelter (2702 m). Here is rest and snack. We enjoy gorgeous views of the mountain peaks: Aiguille du Chardonnet (3824 m), Aiguille Verte (4122 m) and others. Those who wish can independently go down to the glacier and see how ice classes are held by climbers. What's next? It all depends on the condition of the group members. We can even go up to an altitude of about 3,000 m and admire the snow-ice plateau of the Glacier du Tours and the many peaks that separate us from Switzerland, or start the descent. Down there is a rather steep path along which you can go to the tongue of a glacier, from which a mountain river breaks out. There will be thunder, spray, waterfalls, etc. We looked, took gorgeous photos, we need to hurry - there is a long descent ahead along the path to the village of Le Tour.
Day 5
Today will be easy trekking. We take the Montenvers train and go up to the Montenvers Hotel station, which is located above the beginning of the famous Mer de Glace glacier, at an altitude of 1913 m. Here we go down to the glacier and visit the ice caves, walk along the glacier up to refugias at an altitude of 2600 m. From here, good views of the peaks of Grandes Jorasses (4208 m), Petit Dru (3754 m), Aiguille Verte (4122 m) will open. We walked, looked - it's time to go down. There are two options. We get down by train, or we walk along a beautiful path towards the first cable car station leading to the Aiguille du Midi.
Day 6
Today is an early rise. We rise by cable car (first stage) to the Aiguille du Midi (3842 m). If the weather is good - get a lot of impressions from the panoramas seen. You will see Mont Blanc in the morning rays and warm colors and the route to it through the peaks of Mont Blanc du Tacul (4248 m) and Mont Maudit (4465 m). The classic Mont Blanc route through the Gute Hut. And also the beauties of the peaks of Grandes Jorasses, Petit Dru, Aiguille Verte, Brevent and others. If there is a cable car with panoramic cabins that connects the two countries France and Italy, we sit down and go to Italy. During the trip, there are special stops for tourists on the cable car, where you can take stunning photos. You will see from the other side of the peak of Mont Blanc du Tacul (4248 m), Mont Maudit (4465 m), the handsome Grand Capucin (3838 m), La Tour Ronde (3792 m), Pointe Helbronner (3462 m), Grandes Jorasses (4208 m) and of course the summit of Mont Blanc (4810 m).
Day 7
Time flies, and we need to see so much more. On this day, we continue to get acquainted with the Mont Blanc massif. We get on the bus and go to the village of Les Houches. On the Bellevue cable car, we will rise to a height of 1794 m, where we will transfer to the cog railway - the Mont Blanc Tram, which starts from the other side, from the village of Le Fayet and goes to the Nid d’Aigle station at an altitude of 2372 m. From here we go on foot to the Tête Rousse shelter (3167 m). This will be our final point, as further climbing requires special equipment and climbing skills. We admire the beautiful views, take photos and begin the descent. If we have time, in Les Houches we go to the lake.
Day 8
On this day we will go to the Argentiere Glacier . We get on the bus and go to the village of the same name d'Argentiere. We will not climb the cable car, but we will go leisurely on foot. We need to go to the Lognan Rifugio area to the wildlife park, to the tongue of the Argentiere glacier at an altitude of 2300 m. After the ascent and walk, we rest, take pictures and begin the descent.
Day 9
A day of rest, it is also a reserve day in case of bad weather. Depending on the flight schedule, evening departure to Geneva is possible.
Day 10
Enjoy the last sunny morning with views of Mont Blanc and Brevent. We collect things and leave for Geneva Airport. This concludes our tour, we hope you enjoyed it!
