Day 1
Meeting of participants at the Roland Garros International Airport of Saint-Marie or the ports of Le Port, Saint-Marie and Saint-Denis. Check in at a hotel in Saint-Denis. A walk through the historical center of the island's capital - the luxurious architecture of the palaces of planters and slave owners, colorful markets for spices and souvenirs, the cathedral of the island and the oldest mosque in France, a botanical garden, a museum of island history, the house where the famous pilot Roland Garros was born, a tree park, an old military hospital, the main promenade of the island - Barashva embankment. Day 2
Transfer to the volcanic circus Silaos. The volcanic circus Silaos - 1500 m, which leads one of the most picturesque roads in France, fully justifying its name - "The road of four hundred bends." Silaos was discovered in the 17th century by runaway slaves and until the beginning of the thirties of the last century it could only be reached on foot. Inspection of the circus. Day 3
Exit to the trail at 8.00. The track to Taibit peak (2080 m) and further to the volcanic circus Mafate (1600 m) - 16 km, 7 hours. Dinner and night in the village of Marla
Day 4
After breakfast, you go to one of the island’s most unusual waterfalls - Les Trois Roches, as if several cascades appear from volcanic plates and fall into a huge gorge at your feet. Having passed at the foot of Grand Benard, the second highest mountain of Reunion island, a thousand-meter-long slope literally hangs over the path, you go to another Mafate village - La Nouvelle. The village is located on a huge volcanic plateau, from which incredible views of the volcanic faults and Riviera la Galet - one of the main waterways of Reunion Island. Day 5
After spending two days away from civilization, without cars, electric wires and city noise, you leave the Mafate Circus and, walking at the very foot of the extinct volcano Piton des Neiges through the relict forests of tamarid, rise to the Salazi Ulrican Circus, rightfully considered the island’s most picturesque circus - a special microclimate the circus and hundreds of waterfalls gives incredibly rich shades of green. You will see panoramas of volcanic crevices and dizzying views of the entire volcanic circus, and arrive for dinner and overnight in one of the most charming villages of Reunion - the Creole village of Elbur, which is included in the list of the most beautiful villages in France
Day 6
The three previous trekking days were just a warm-up to the last two. On this day, you begin to climb the highest point of Reunion Island and the Indian Ocean - one of the greatest volcanoes on the planet, fortunately for the islanders, already extinct twenty thousand years ago. This climb follows a very steep path in the rainforest and lasts about 5-6 hours. To gain strength and meet the dawn at the top of the Piton des Neiges, you stop for dinner and overnight in the highest mountain refuge of the Indian Ocean - at an altitude of 2478 meters, from here you can enjoy views of the whole island!
Day 7
Leaving the house very early in the morning, still dark, at 3-4 o’clock in the morning. You will follow your night climbing guide to enjoy the sunrise from the highest peak in the Indian Ocean (3,070 m). Stunning panoramas of the Reunion open from the top, and on a clear day, you can even see Mauritius! Then go down to the cottage for a well-deserved breakfast in order to regain your strength before going down to Silaos along a heavy trail entirely of volcanic boulders.
That's all, the circle is completed, you just completed the tour and climbing the Piton des Neiges, where Russian-speaking tourists climbed for the first time only in 2017. After the descent - transfer to your hotel or airport
