How to start & End Ghorepani /PoonHill Trek
- Poon Hill Trek is one of the easy treks of Nepal which begins after having 1:30 hours drive from Pokhara to Nayapul.
- From Kathmandu one can go by Car/Tourist Bus/Plane to Pokhara; stay there and next morning drive to Nayapul with Trekking Guide & Porters.
- Each Day walk 5-6 hrs during Poon Hill Trek
Trekking Permits of Poon Hill Trek
- Need Annapurna Conservation Area Project permit; it cost 20$ per person.
- Also Need TIMS; it cost 10$ per person.
- One can buy ACAP Permit with TIMS Card in Nepal Tourism Board or related company through which you go to Poon Hill Trek.
- Your Permit is Checked-inn in Nayapul & Check out in Nayapul
Lodges and Foods in Ghorepani/Poon Hill Trek
During the period of Poon Hill, Trekkers sleep in normal Tea-houses. Even one can attached Room having toilet and shower inside Room. Two Trekkers can share one room where available of two beds. Main season of Poon Hill trekking is March, April, May, Sep, Oct & Nov. One can choose food from Menu, but normally they have Nepali Food Called Dal Bhat, Vegetables, Noodles, potatoes, Local Gurung Bread, Pizza, Steak, Fry Rice, Toast, Omelete, boiled eggs, pasta, French fries and soup. There are even biscuits, chocolates and soft drinks.
