Day 1
Meeting at the airport in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner in a cafe in the city, meeting the participants with the guides and organizers. Overnight in Ust-Kamenogorsk

Day 2
Early breakfast, packing and we, when the participants are ready, leave by car towards Lake Yazevoe. The road runs along the picturesque landscapes of the East Kazakhstan Region, gradually deepening into the serpentines of the Altai Mountains! The first half of the way to the left and right we will be pursued by endless fields of sunflowers (according to the season), we will definitely make a stop here. We will see the waters of the Bukhtarma reservoir. Closer to lunchtime, our crew will arrive in the Katon-Karagai village. Here we issue a permit to enter the territory of the national park. We will have lunch at the Katon-Karagaya cafe. After lunch we will continue our way into the depths of the Kazakhstan Altai. In the village of Uryl, we pass the border outpost and there is not much left until the place of the first overnight stay on Lake Yazev. There is a small Yazevoy waterfall near the lake - we will definitely look here. On the lake, fishing enthusiasts will have the opportunity to cast their fishing rods - there is an ide fish (hence the name of the lake). We are resting after a long journey. Overnight at the guest house.

Day 3
Gathering in the morning, delicious breakfast, loading of things and equipment for horses. When the participants are ready, we move towards the foot of Mount Belukha, to the lower campground. The trek will be long, depending on the weather conditions and the preparation of the group, the travel time can be from 7 to 10 hours. You need to prepare for a long horse ride, put on comfortable clothes, and keep a raincoat, a supply of water and an energy snack within easy reach. Upon arrival at the base camp, we set up our own tent camp. Here we will stop for the next few days and will make daily radial exits.

Day 4
Morning breakfast, short preparations. A beautiful radial exit awaits us today. We will go with you to a lake of glacial origin called "Equilibrium Lake". The lake is located on a high-mountain range between 3 peaks - Vera (2591 m), Nadezhda (2709 m) and Lyubov (3039 m). Along the way, you can taste delicious blueberries straight from the bush, as well as pick mushrooms. This region is very rich in mushrooms and berries. We will also climb to the top of Mount Vera (the most accessible of the 3 peaks surrounding the lake). From the top, an excellent panoramic view opens up to near-back views! After descending from the summit, we will look at the labyrinth of "desires" made by Russian shamans.

Day 5
Morning breakfast, short preparations. Another beautiful radial exit awaits us today. We are heading to a sacred place - Roerich's Stone. According to legend, Nicholas Roerich in these parts was looking for an entrance to the magical land - Shambhala. Since then, people of different religious views, psychics, healers and simply curious people have made pilgrimages to this stone. Here is a very strong energy source that helps meditation, energizes and, according to legend, fulfills cherished desires. In gratitude, people leave a sacrifice to the stone in the form of sweets, coins or some significant things. The stone offers a magnificent view of Mount Belukha. Then we will go to the Berel glacier, look into its frightening crevices, and drink icy water. On the way back, let's pick up wild black currant leaves for tea.

Day 6
Well, are you tired? Need a good rest? Today is this day - unloading. We will take a walk to the Kokkol waterfall, it is located very close to our camp! Kokkol waterfall is an amazing, magical beauty creation of nature, one of the largest waterfalls in Kazakhstan, and certainly the most spectacular. The height of the waterfall cascade is about 80 meters. The stream width is 10 meters. The waterfall is formed by the small mountain river Bolshoy Kokkol, flowing from the lake of the same name and flowing into the river. White Berel. After lunch we return to the camp, summary time.

Day 7
We had a good rest the previous day. And today we have another and probably the most interesting trekking to the upper camp of the abandoned mine. Old Tungsten Mine (border with the Russian Federation). The abandoned Kokkol mine is a unique monument of mining. It was founded in 1938 on the Kokkol pass (3000 m above sea level). These include: the Kokkol mine (Upper Camp), Lower Camp, the road between the villages and the bridge across the White Berel. Due to the cold climate, all buildings and elements of the Upper Camp processing plant are well preserved and represent a wonderful open-air museum.

Day 8
So the time has flown by, you need to return to civilization. In the morning, having refreshed ourselves with a delicious breakfast, we pack up our camp and load our things on the horses, say goodbye to Belukha and start the way back along the already known route. After the descent, we arrive at the Yazevoe lake, rest in the guest house after the descent. We take a steam bath in a hot bath.

Day 9
Morning breakfast, loading things into the car and a long road to Ust-Kamenogorsk.
On the way we will stop for lunch at a cafe. In the evening we will arrive in Ust-Kamenogorsk. Accommodation at the hotel.
Distance: 450 km. Way of movement: motor transport. Travel time: up to 12 hours

Mount Belukha (Kazakh name - Muztau), height 4509 m, is located in the Altai Mountains (Katun ridge) on the border of Kazakhstan and Russia. From the side of Kazakhstan - East Kazakhstan region.

All routes towards Belukha from Kazakhstan, as a rule, start from the regional center of Ust-Kamenogorsk.

Mount Belukha:

  • has two peaks: Western (4440 m) and Eastern (4509 m)
  • the highest point of Siberia and Altai
  • the kingdom of snow, ice, formidable avalanches and sparkling waterfalls, the second most popular peak of the Southern Altai.
  • the slopes of this mountain are covered with eternal snow and glaciers, covering an area of approximately 70 sq. km.

Clothing:

  • Comfortable clothing for hiking and horse riding (quick-drying pants, long-sleeved shirt, fleece jacket, windbreaker)
  • A set of warm clothes (puff, thermal underwear, warm pants, hat, gloves)
  • Raincoat or storm jacket, waterproof pants (it may rain on the way)
  • Swimsuit or swimming trunks
  • Headdress (cap, panama, etc.)
  • A set of changeable clothes is mandatory (for the rest in the evening after the active part)
  • "Flashlights" (shoe covers).
  • Gloves for the equestrian part
  • Shorts with "diaper" (cycling shorts) - for the equestrian part.

Footwear:

  • Rubber boots (it is recommended to take, in bad weather a great option)
