Climbing Annapurna IV

Climbing Annapurna IV (7525 m)

Annapurna is not just a peak in the Himalayas, but a whole mountain range. The main peak of the massif is called Annapurna I and has a height (8091 m). This is the tenth highest peak of our planet. Next to it are two more peaks above eight thousand meters: Central (8051 m) and East (8026 m). The remaining peaks of the Annapurna massif are below 8000 meters and are called: Annapurna II (7937 m), Annapurna III (7555 m) and Annapurna IV (7525 m) - which we will climb.

Annapurna IV is a beautiful and rather complex seven-thousander of Nepal. Climbing it is very prestigious, requires special mountaineering training and can be on a par with ascents to peaks above 8000 meters
