Meeting in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel. Registration of all permits. Selection and purchase of necessary clothing, equipment and products for climbing
Early rise, moving from Kathmandu by road (bus and jeeps in Dharapani, 1920 m). On the way, lunch in Besisahar. Overnight at the lodge
Trekking to base camp begins, we move to Goa (2515 m). We pack the goods on a caravan of horses, and we ourselves walk. Rivers, bridges, green forests, rural landscape, picking potatoes, low cumulus clouds.
On this day we move to Bimtang (3700 m). We will see the high snowy peak of Larkya (6249m). The trail goes along the Dudh Khola River in a mixed forest, where you can find the Himalayan cedar with blue cones. You can see the vulture family. Bimtang is in a large moraine pocket. Trekking: 13km, 6h
On this day we climb, along the crest of the moraine we rise to the Larkya La pass (5100 m). After the pass, a very long descent to Samdo (3875 m) awaits us. Along the way, we pass through villages that are very ancient here, and even stupas, and flags other than those in the region of Annapurna and Everest. Trekking: 20km, 10h
A small passage to Samagaon (3500 m). Easy day after yesterday's transition. There is a large moraine lake and gompa in Samagaon. Here you can wash, wash and here, at the end there is a connection. Trekking: 8km, 2h
On this day we will come to our Base Camp (4950 m). In the course of the first time we will see the peak of Manaslu. Manaslu is a very high mountain. The difference in height from the valley is 4.5 km. There are many camps in the base camp, about 10. Our camp will be the highest one, closer to the mountain. Trekking: 5h
We begin to work along the route, an acclimatization walk. We drop some of the cargo into Camp 1 (5800 m), set up tents there. We go 4 hours up the torn glacier. We put up tents under the icefall. We’ll go down to BС in 1.5 hours.
Getting ready for the first high-altitude exit. Following the already known path, we go to Сamp 1, overnight. There are a lot of cracks, ice knives and small walls on the glacier; there is a railing
We rise higher to Camp 2 (6300 m). All day we go in the icefall. It’s dangerous to go everywhere - overhanging seraks, snow bridges through cracks with stairs, snow-ice walls from 20 to 50 m and a slope of 40-60 degrees. Someone goes up, someone goes down
Today again an acclimatization exit, now to Сamp 3 (6800m). The path goes among the huge faults of the glacier, either winding around, then directly in the forehead. We set up tents in Camp 3 and go down to spend the night in Camp 2
We go from Сamp 2 to rest in BC
We work according to the scheme: Base camp - Camp 1 (5800 m) - Camp 2 (6300 m), Camp 3 (6800 m), descent to the base camp
