PROGRAM #1, from Italy
Day 1
We meet in Milan, then move through the town of Pont-Saint-Martin to the village of Staffal (1825 m). Then everything depends on the time of our arrival in Staffal.
- If we have time for the cable car, then we go up (options) to the huts: Gabiet and the lake of the same name (2400 m), Orest (2600 m), Mantua (3400 m) or Gnifetti (3600 m). If there is no acclimatization, then it is better to stop in Staffal
- If we do not have time, then we stop in Staffal or in the city of Pont-Saint-Martin - here is the famous Roman bridge and two ruined medieval castles
Day 2
Acclimatization walks along interesting trails, lakes Lys and Gabiet (2400 m)
Day 3
Crossing to the Gnifetti hut (3600 m)
Day 4
After breakfast, crossing to the highest alpine hut Margherita (4554 m)
Day 5
Climbing the peak of the Dufour (4634 m). Then there are 2 options:
- descent along the ascent to the Margherita hut
- descent towards Switzerland, the Monte Rosa hut (2883 m)
Day 6
Italy. Descent to the village of Staffal.
Switzerland. Descent to Zermatt via Gornergrat (3089 m) - the upper station of the railway to Zermatt. This is one of those places that everyone should visit at least once in their life. It offers a magnificent panorama of the mountains and a magnificent view of the Matterhorn
Day 7
Italy. End of the tour, departure of the participants. See you on new routes!
Switzerland. Optional introductory hiking treks in Zermatt. End of the tour, departure of the participants. See you on new routes!

PROGRAM #2, from Switzerland
Day 1
Meeting of participants in Zermatt (Geneva, Milan - to be discussed in advance). Accommodation in a campsite or hotel (apartments) - to be discussed in advance. Introductory walk
Days 2-3
Acclimatization. Various trekking. The sequence is determined by arrival, weather, physical condition of the participants
Day 4
We take the train to the upper station of Gornergrat (3089 m) - the upper station of the railway in Zermatt. This is one of those places that everyone should visit at least once in their life. From here, a magnificent panorama of the mountains and a magnificent view of the Matterhorn opens up. Then we go to the Monte Rosa hut (2883 m)
Day 5
Ascent to the peak of the Dufour peak (4634 m). Then there are 2 options:
- descent along the ascent route to the Monte Rosa hut
- descent towards Italy, the Margherita hut (4554 m)
Day 6
Italy. Descent to the village of Staffal.
Switzerland. Descent through the Gornergrat (3089 m) to Zermatt.
Day 7
Italy and Switzerland. End of the tour, departure of the participants. See you on new routes!

PROGRAM #3, from Switzerland and Italy via Breithorn (4164 m), traverse of peaks
Day 1
Italy. Meeting in the village of Camping Cervino (below the city of Breuil-Cervinia) or in the city in a hotel (apartments).
Switzerland. Meeting of participants in Zermatt. Accommodation in a campsite or hotel (apartments) - agreed in advance. Introductory walk
Days 2-3
Acclimatization. Various trekking. The sequence is determined by arrival, weather, physical condition of the participants
Day 4
Italy and Switzerland. Ascent to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise station (3883 m). Then ascent to the Breithorn peak (4164 m). After climbing to the top, we continue along, below the ridge of the other peaks from west to east to the Ayas hut (3420 m). If you have time and energy, we go to the Quintino Sella hut (3585 m)
Day 5
We continue traverse the peaks, the most difficult day. We go to the Margherita hut (4554 m)
Day 6
Climbing the Dufour peak (4634 m). There are 2 options:
- descent along the ascent route to the Monte Rosa hut
- descent towards Italy, the Margherita hut (4554 m)
Day 7
Italy. Descent to the village of Staffal
Switzerland. Descent through the Gornergrat (3089 m) to Zermatt
Day 8
Italy and Switzerland. End of the tour, departure of the participants. See you on new routes!
