Option 1 (not always feasible in winter)
Day 1
Meeting, gathering of the group in Stepantsminda village (Tbilisi). Overnight at a guest house, hotel. Acquaintance with the instructor, equipment check.
Attention! It is possible to organize a meeting at the airports of the cities of Tbilisi and Kutaisi with a transfer to Stepantsminda.
Day 2 *
Light acclimatization hike and equipment check. The beginning of the ascent along the slope of Saberce. On the way, we will visit the Church of the Holy Trinity (2170 m) and then ascend to the Saberce pass (2930 m). Admiring beautiful views. Tea, coffee, snacks. Descent to Stepantsminda.
Attention! For an additional fee, a transfer by jeeps to the Church of the Holy Trinity is possible (2170 m)
Day 3 *
The beginning of the ascent. Again we climb the pass, from it we go down a little to the Saberce glade (Altihut area, 3014 m), set up tents, rest. This option is suitable when there is no snow in the area (beginning of winter) or for sports groups when participants are ready to sleep in the snow and are preparing for big mountains. If you are working, you can stay at the Altihut, 3014 m.
Attention!
- According to the state of the participants and WEATHER CONDITIONS: we can climb to the sites under the glacier (3300 m) or further along the tongue of the Gergeti glacier to the meteorological station (3600 m). Climbing directly to the weather station is recommended when there is a lot of snow, quite cold and windy.
- For an additional fee, it is possible to drop off in jeeps to the church and then drop backpacks on horseback (load up to 75 kg) to the pass, glade, glacier or meteorological station (determined by the snow situation). If the climb to the pass is snowy, there will be no horses.
- For deep snow, it is recommended to have snowshoes or ski touring kit (skis).
Day 4 *
Trekking over the Gergeti glacier and climbing to the Meteorological station for 3-4 hours (3600 m). Snack, rest, acclimatization walk through the ancient Betlemi monastery to the parking lots at an altitude of 4200 m. Return to the meteorological station. Overnight at the meteorological station.
Day 5
Acclimatization hike up to 4500 m, ice and snow lessons. Descent to the weather station.
Day 6
Climbing Kazbek (5033 m.) 5-7 hours. Early departure at 03:00. Descent to the weather station.
Day 7
Reserve day in case of bad weather.
Day 8
Descent to Stepantsminda village. Accommodation in a guest house. Festive dinner.
Day 9
Departure. See you on new routes!

- If one of the participants became ill on the day of climbing, the participant was injured, etc. Guide (one Guide in the group), for SECURITY purposes, returns the entire group down. A second attempt is made the next day.
