Day 1
Arrival in Krasnodar. Check into a hotel. City tour - acquaintance with the traditions of the Cossacks, the history of the region.
Day 2
Group gathering at 9.00 in the hotel lobby. Transfer Krasnodar - Zakan cordon. The monotony of the road is smoothed out by the views. A narrow shelf winds among the rocks above the water's edge. This is the gorge of Big Laba. Arrival at Zakan. We solve organizational issues with the administration of the reserve and border guards, and go. Next we will find a dense coniferous forest, ship pines and spruce. We rise higher and higher. Forest trail overgrown with moss and fern. On the trunks of trees you can see lichen spots ... The red rock Zakan reigns over the tops of the pines. To our right runs the full-flowing river Imeretinka, to the upper reaches of which we set off. A kingdom of alpine meadows awaits us behind a wooden bridge - a variety of forbs, the smell of honey plants intertwines with the delicate aroma of not melted snow brought by the breeze from the mountain peaks. Before us in all its splendor will appear the valley of the Imeretinka River. For the night we stop near the forester's house.
Day 3
Ascent to the lake of Bezmolviya (2530 m). A mountain trail winds among alpine meadows, waterfalls, streams and rifts surround us from all sides. Water is just everywhere - it reigns in this picturesque gorge, but the main attraction in front of us is the Great Imereti Falls pouring onto the bottom of a rocky channel with a multi-stage cascade more than 100 m high. A little higher is another waterfall falling from a stream from a height of 65 m. Along the mountain overcoming the stone steps from which Imeretinka falls, we find ourselves in a wide hanging valley at the end of which Lake Bezmolviya awaits us, a beautiful pond surrounded by mountains on all sides. On its shore we set up a camp. Perhaps this evening we will be visited by tours that are not at all afraid of man. If you are allowed strength, then you can bring them a piece of salt as a gift. Have a rest. We swim in the lake. Enjoy the nature. Now our journey will take place all the time on the lung. We will make radial sorties in the neighborhood. After lunch we will go on a short trip. We are waiting for a magnificent walk along the shore of this reservoir. and a walk to the Chocolate Pass (3020 m). From the crest of the ridge we can see the valley of the Damhorz River. Along the way, we will see another of the large Imereti Lakes - Lake Bush, located next to a picturesque snowfield.
Day 4
Today we leave our camp and set off without backpacks and set off to explore the first group of Imereti Lakes: Lake Tikhoe and Lake Protochnoe. Each of them rests on its own stone terrace. Lake Protochnoe features amazingly clear water, stone shores create a frame in which this lake diamonds sparkle and shimmers under the sun. Granite shores only emphasize the beauty and sophistication of the reservoir. A little higher, around the bend on the next terrace lies Lake Silent. Hidden from all sides by stone walls, it has a completely calm water surface, only a light breath of the breeze brings a slight ripple in which the rays of the sun sparkle. The lake has a bright blue catchy color. In this unusually beautiful place we will have dinner. Those who wish can take a dip in the waters of Lake Tikhogo. And the most curious, together with the instructor, can climb higher along the valley to the tongue of a small glacier and see another small nameless lake. Return to the camp. Half day! We don’t do anything. We share our impressions, make plans for the future, enjoy the Great Imereti Lake.
Day 5
Today is our most important day. We conquer the peak of Granitnaya (3212 m). Jokes aside. This is a serious matter. On the way we admire the beauty of Lake Geographers, Riviera and Lake Celestial. We do not cease to admire the beauty and diversity of the Imereti Lakes. Today we are waiting for the most beautiful photos, the most vivid views
Day 6
With new strength we set off for the Yukhinsky pass (2875 m). Lakes Efremova, Chernoe, Lebedeva, Safronova and Yukhinskoye are waiting for us. At one of them we have to spend an overnight stay under the stars. At our feet we can see the valley of the Juha River, the famous Tsakhvoa Range and the incomparable peak of Tsakhvoa (3346 m) in all its glory.
Day 7
So our journey ends. Today we need to go back. We leave the Imereti Lakes, but do not say goodbye to them, but say goodbye, until we meet again. Return to civilization. Transfer to Krasnodar. Hotel check-in
