Option - 1. Climbing the Matterhorn from Italy along the Southwest ridge of Lyon, category of difficulty - 4A
Day 1
Meeting at Breuil-Cervinia. Check in at the hotel. (By appointment, meeting in Milan or Chamonix)
Day 2
Acclimatization excursion to the area of Mount Breithorn (4164 m), we conduct mountaineering lessons. Settlement in the Shelter. For convenience and energy savings, you can use the cable car to Rifugio Guide del Cervino
Day 3
Acclimatization day with climbing Mount Breithorn (4164 m). Descent to the hotel (Breul-Cervinia)
Day 4
Day of rest, preparation for climbing
Day 5
Morning exit, climb to the Сarrel hut (3829 m). Overnight at the shelter (a mattress and a blanket are provided here). To save time and effort, it is possible to drive to the Abruzzi hut (Abruzzi, 2801m) by car.
Day 6
Climbing the Matterhorn (4478 m). Overnight at the shelter.
Day 7
Descent to the hut of Abruzzi Hut and further to Breul-Cervinia. Hotel accommodation
Day 8
Return to Milan. Departure home. Or reserve day
Option - 2. Climbing the Matterhorn from Italy, moving to Switzerland, along the Hernli Northwest Ridge, difficulty category - 3B
Day 1

Day 2

Day 4
Going to Switzerland, we move towards Lake Schwarzsee (Schwarzsee, 2580 m), then follow the ridge to the Hernley shelter (Hörnli, 3260 m). Overnight at the shelter. Preparation for climbing the Matterhorn.
Day 5
Climbing the Matterhorn along the Hernli ridge. After the ascent, we begin the descent along the Southwest Ridge to the Italian side along the Lyon route. Overnight at the shelter of the Carrel (3829 m). Possible descent to the Abruzzi hut
Day 6
Descent to Duca degli Abruzzi (3-4 hours), halt. Continuation of descent to Breul-Cervinia. Accommodation at a campsite / hotel. Possible departure to Milan airport
Day 7
Departure to Milan or Chamonix
